Who we are: Shunaya Softwares Solutions Private Limited, House No. 152–153, Upper Ground Floor, Block B, Pocket 6, Sector 5, Delhi 110085, India ("we"), trading as S3 Tech Pulse. Contact: rulegate-support@s3techpulse.com.
Rulegate Pro is a desktop app that works alongside Claude Code. It is built so that your work stays on your computer. This policy says what little leaves it, why, and what you can do about it. The free, open-source Rulegate command-line tool has no account and sends us nothing; it is not covered here.
What stays on your computer
Never sent to us or anyone: your code and project files, your rule files, the agents' memory notes, feature maps, the playbooks served to Claude Code, your prompts and Claude Code transcripts, and the app's activity log. The app reads Claude Code's own project list and session files locally to show them to you; that information is not uploaded.
What we collect, and why
| Data | Why | When |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Your account: sign-in codes are emailed to it | When you sign in |
| Your name, if you add one | Shown in the app | When you set it |
| A random id for each computer, its name (e.g. "MacBook-Pro") and platform | Counting the computers using your plan's two seats | When you activate a computer, then at each license check (at start and daily) |
| When each sign-in session was created and last used | Keeping you signed in; ending sessions | Each request |
| Plan, trial and subscription state; Stripe customer and subscription ids | Knowing whether your plan is active | When it changes |
| Billing name, address and any tax ID you give at checkout (held by Stripe for us) | Invoices, and the GST or other tax the law requires us to charge | When you buy |
| Your network (IP) address | Rate-limiting sign-in attempts | Kept only as short-lived counters |
We store a one-way hash of each sign-in code and session token, never the code or token itself. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and we do not sell data.
Update checks send the app's version and your platform to our download server when the app looks for an update. Crash reports: the app sends none.
Who processes it for us
- Stripe (stripe.com) processes payments for us. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us; Stripe holds your billing name, address and payment history to process payments and issue invoices, under its own privacy policy as well as ours. We receive your subscription status and Stripe's customer id.
- Resend (resend.com) delivers the sign-in emails, so it sees your email address and the code.
- Our hosting provider runs our server and database in a data centre in Delhi, India.
How long we keep it
Your account data is kept while your account exists. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes. Rate-limit counters reset within an hour. When you delete your account, everything above is deleted from our database at once; backups that contain it are overwritten within 14 days. Invoices and billing records are kept for as long as Indian tax and company law requires.
Your choices and rights
- Download your data: Settings › License › Download my data saves everything our server holds about you as a JSON file.
- Delete your account: Settings › License › Delete account. Cancel a running subscription first (Manage billing); deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
- Sign out a computer, or free its seat: Settings › License.
- Uninstall completely: Settings › Advanced › Remove Rulegate removes the app's data and plugins from your computer.
You can also email rulegate-support@s3techpulse.com to access, correct or delete your data, or to object to how we use it. We answer within 30 days. You may complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
All traffic between the app and our server uses HTTPS. Licenses are signed so the app can check them offline. The database is reachable only from our server.
Children
Rulegate Pro is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post changes here and, for material ones, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
